Welcome - Church of the Nazarene Princeton, Idaho

 

   

 

Princeton Nazarene is a rural church nestled in the valley of the main branch of the Palouse River in North Idaho approximately 70 miles south of Coeur D' Alene, Idaho.

The unincorporated community of Princeton is 2 miles east of Potlatch, Idaho www.potlatchidaho.org and approximately 20 miles north of Moscow, Idaho.  The poplulation of the city of Potlatch was about 790 in 2007.  The region is part of the Potlatch School District  www.potlatchschools.org with one elementary school building and a joint junior high and high school building located in the city of Potlatch.  The Princeton Nazarene church family is made up of ranchers, logging mill workers, loggers, staff employees from the two local universities, local families, and retirees.  The two universities are the University of Idaho in Moscow, which is about 25 miles to the south.  And the other is Washington State University in Pullman, Washington, which is about 30 miles to the southwest.  Princeton Nazarene has been in existence since 1921 and has a rich history of being an active church family in the community.

The above view of Princeton Nazarene Church , taken from the south on Hwy 6, was built 100% debt free.  Worship services were held in the Fellowship Hall, housed on the bottom floor of the education section, on folding chairs, until the Sanctuary was ready.
